Congratulations to Seth Shaffer, Brice Thomas, and Ashley Wang for being named Outstanding Soloists at TSSEC. This was Ashley's third year to earn this award.

At the UIL Concert & Sightreading Conest:

The Carroll Dragon Band Earned its 27th UIL Sweepstakes Award

Our varsity band, Wind Ensemble, was one of only 3 varsity bands in our region to earn straight First Divisions

CISD was as one of only 3 districts in our region who had three bands earn Superior ratings in Concert & Sightreading

Jazz Band Wins Awards at Essentially Ellington

Jazz Band I won the award for Best Brass Section and Stephen Falkenberg won the award for Best Bass Sound at the Essentially Ellington Competition in NYC May 8-10.

September General Band Booster Meeting Rescheduled

Home - Band Updates
The General Band Booster Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, has been rescheduled due to a conflict with CHS's Curriculum Night. The meeting will now be held Thursday, September 9, at 7:00 pm, in the CHS Band Hall.

This could make our website "run slow" and all of our events may not be included on our calendar. Try refreshing your screen or visiting the site a little bit later. If there is no error message, but the calendar isn't loading, go back to the home page and then click on calendar again. That seems to help it load.
