Dragon Band members earn 235 first division medals at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition on Feburary 6.  Soloists earned 108 medals and 52 of them qualified to the State competition.  Twenty-nine ensembles received first divisions and took home 127 medals and all of them qualified to state.  The Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest will be held in Austin on May 29th.

Plan to spend a great Saturday evening, February 20, 2010, at the Carroll Band Bistro at the CHS cafeteria / activity center!  Enjoy dinner with family and friends and musical entertainment provided by our own talented Band students and Jazz bands.  Between performances you'll be able to stroll among the silent auction items and bid on your favorites.

The concert has been rescheduled for Friday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m.  It will be held in The Bridge at White's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Currently, Clancy and the Lab Band are on tour in California and will attend the Grammy Awards Sunday, Jan. 31. The event airs live at 7 p.m. on CBS. While the group isn't expected to be included in the broadcast, the Carroll ISD Communications and Marketing Department is working on a video feature to be posted on the district's website.
