Wind Symphony
The Wind Symphony is the Varsity band ensemble at Carroll. This ensemble is mostly composed of seniors and juniors that perform at the highest level. Requirements to be a part of this prestigious ensemble include participation in the All-State audition process, Solo and Ensemble process, and weekly sectionals. 99% of students in the Wind Ensemble are enrolled in private lessons and enjoy making music at the highest level.
Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble is the second band ensemble at Carroll. This ensemble is composed of seniors, juniors, and some sophomores and freshmen that perform at a very high level. Requirements to be a part of this ensemble include participation in the All-State audition process, Solo and Ensemble process, and weekly sectionals when called. Students in the Wind Ensemble are almost always enrolled in private lessons and enjoy making music at a high level.
Symphonic Winds Green
Symphonic Winds Green is the 3rd Concert Band. This ensemble is composed of mainly freshmen, sophomores, and a few juniors and seniors that perform standard high school literature. Requirements to be a part of this ensemble include participation in after school rehearsals and weekly sectionals when called. A large majority of students are enrolled in private lessons and pursue the All-Region process in the fall and Solo/Ensemble process in the Spring.
Symphonic Winds White
Symphonic Winds White is the 4th Concert band. This ensemble is composed of mainly freshmen and sophomores that perform standard high school literature. Requirements to be a part of this ensemble include participation in after school rehearsals and weekly sectionals when called. A large majority of students are enrolled in private lessons and pursue the Solo/Ensemble process in the Spring. Some students in this ensemble will pursue All-Region.
