Carroll Band Booster Club
The Dragon Band is fortunate to have a very active and supportive Carroll Band Booster Club. Widely recognized as one of the most active and supportive parent volunteer groups of its kind, the Carroll Band Booster Club enriches the Dragon Band's many programs by providing financial, physical and moral support to band students, Directors, and staff. The Band Boosters help with fund raising and event planning, feeding the band students at every game and marching contest, managing uniform inventories, and so much more.
The Band Boosters' overall goal is to help the band staff by shouldering as much of the non-performance-related workload as possible ... thus freeing the staff to focus on the students' musical education, rehearsals, and performances. While every parent of a band member is a de facto member of the Band Booster Club, we encourage all parents to become active participants in the Band Boosters. Parent involvement makes a huge difference to the students and directors, and is tremendously rewarding.
Here are just a few ways to become more involved:
Attend Booster Club's monthly meetings and make your voice heard. (The Boosters meet at 7:00pm, on the 1st Tuesday of each month, in the Band Hall at Carroll High School. See the Band calendar for details.)
Get involved with the total program (concerts, games, competitions…)
Volunteer to coordinate or help with:
Band Bistro / Silent Auction fund raiser
Student fund raising efforts
Event and Trip Chaperones
Event Support (Refreshments, Transportation, etc.)
Parking Concession at Stadium
The Carroll Band Booster Club is an integral part of the entire Dragon Band program. We hope that you will become a part of this important organization.
