8th-Grade Audition Registration and
After-School Audition Time Signup
For CURRENT 8th Graders Only!
If you (or your student) is in 8th grade as of Spring 2018 ... and thus will be joining the Dragon Band as a Freshman in fall 2018, then the Audition Registration link at the bottom of the page is for you! Be sure to have your (or your student's) CISD Student ID number available ... you need it at registration.

If you are a current Dragon Band student (in grades 9-11), do NOT register for an after-school audition time slot. Your auditions will take place during your regular band classes the week of April 30.

B. SCALE REQUIREMENTS CHART. (download HERE)
Major and Chromatic scale requirements for each instrument audition.
C. BAND AUDITION GENERAL INFO. (download HERE)
General information regarding audition requirements: scales, sight reading, etc.
D. BAND STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES. (download HERE)

STEP 2:
SIGN UP for an after-school audition time slot below.
► CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Your band auditions will take place during your regular band classes the week of April 30th. (If you're going to be absent that week, contact your band director to arrange an audition time.)
AFTER YOU SIGN UP for your AUDITION ONLINE:
CHECK YOUR EMAIL for a confirmation email message from “Dragon Band Auditions” that looks like the image below. (If you don't see it, check your spam/junk filter.)
REVIEW the email: Double-check your time slot, your instrument, etc.).
SAVE the email: It contains "Reschedule" and "Cancel" buttons, should the need arise to change your scheduled audition time
NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL? Your audition time may not have been recorded. Contact the webmaster HERE; be sure to provide your name, instrument, and the time slot you signed up for. We'll check and get back to you ASAP.
