The Dragon Band and Carroll Guard began their Sounds of Summer rehearsal series on ​June 12th. The Sounds of Summer is an opportunity for Dragon Band students to keep their skills sharp, and get a head-start on their music for the upcoming fall marching season. These musicians spent a part of the rehearsal reading through their parts as a group. The Carroll Dragon Band is pleased to announce the two newest members of our directorial staff, Mr. Gary Barnard and Mr. Jon Maynard. GARY BARNARD received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May of 2006. In May of 2012 he completed his Master of Educational Administration and Principal Certification from the University of North Texas. Most recently, Mr. Barnard served as Director of Bands at Braswell High School, ove
