2014-2015 Band Leadership Announcement
The band staff wishes to once again thank all leadership applicants for showing an interest in serving the students and the needs of the Carroll Dragon Band. With so many qualified applicants, very difficult decisions had to be made, and you should be reminded that the following criteria were exclusively used when making selections:
Demonstration of leadership qualities
Quality of application
Future leadership potential
Best fit for the individual and organization
If you have been selected to serve as a drum major or section leader, congratulations! We will have a meeting on Monday, May 19th from 3:45 to 5:00. (This date was on your application packet; attendance is mandatory.) Please bring marching attire: Tennis shoes, shorts, green t-shirt, ball cap, and water. Additionally, bring a pencil and paper.
If you were not selected for section leader or drum major, please remember there are a variety of other opportunities to serve our organization, including but not limited to Band Council, Uniform Crew, Library Staff, Loading Crew, and Sound Crew. Please consider offering your services in any one of these capacities.
